Petroleum Jelly

Petroleum jelly softens dry skin, but it also prevents sweat and heat from escaping, which increases the risk of infections.

Tight clothes

Tight clothing can hurt and make sunburned skin uncomfortable. They also retain heat and impede healing. Put on comfortable, relaxed clothing.

Avoid Blisters

Avoid rubbing, peeling, or popping sunburned blisters. It may result in skin infections and delay the healing process.

Ice Pack

Ice does assist to cool the skin down, but it also dries out the skin, which makes sunburns more painful.
