The parents of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala are planning a second kid. Tribune was informed by family sources that Sidhu's mother Charan Singh had IVF.
And was able to conceive a child, who is expected in March. The sole child of the couple, Sidhu, was killed in May 2022.
In May 2022, Sidhu Moosewala was shot and killed in the Mansa district of Punjab. He was reportedly shot six times while out in a jeep with his cousin and companion.
The Punjab Police (SIT) is looking into his death. The group has filed charges against thirty-two defendants, including the criminals Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Goldy Brar, and Lawrence Bishnoi.
A candle march was held in Sidhu's honour in Mansa. To demand "justice" for the late singer, a sizable contingent of his fans and friends flocked to Moosa village to take part in the candle march.
Sidhu's mother was also there at the march. In Jawahar Ke village, a gurdwara was the venue for prayers in honour of the deceased singer.
