The actress-dancer Nora Fatehi has been called by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questions in connection with the case of money laundering. The questioning of Nora is reportedly conducted in connection with the money-laundering investigation which is currently being conducted on alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is charged of being involved in a multi-crore fraud racket.

In the past, the ED interviewed the actor Jacqueline Fernandez as a witness in the case of the Rs. 200 crore money laundering case. The ED conducted an investigation into the 36-year-old actress for about four minutes in Delhi in August. The ED made her statement in accordance with the guidelines that are in place under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Chandrasekhar was detained in 2017 over alleged theft of the money of TTV Dhinakaran to bribe Election Commission officials to obtain the AIADMK “two leaves” symbol for the Sasikala group in a by-election in that R K Nagar Assembly seat in Tamil Nadu.
While in terms of her work, Nora Fatehi is best recognized for her unique dance performance in films such as Rocky Handsome, Satyameva Jayate, Stree, Street Dancer 3D and Marjaavaan. She’s also been a part of reality television shows like Bigg Boss 9 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. Nora Fatehi also appeared as an extra for the TV series Dance Deewane in place for Madhuri Dixit in a couple of episodes.
Nora Fatehi became popular with her dance performances to the track Dilbar of the feature film Satyamev Jayate. She also appeared in films such as Street Dancer 3D, with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. She also made a role in Salman Khan’s Bharat. She will also be on Satyameva Jayate 2, starring John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar. Nora appeared in her last film Bhuj: The Pride Of India featuring Ajay Devgn Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha as prominent characters.
