Today is the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution of India. The country is celebrating the 130th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb on 14 April. On this occasion, many leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi have paid tribute to Babasaheb. PM Modi said that his struggle to bring the deprived sections of the society into the mainstream will continue to be an example for every generation.

Let us tell you that a rare Marathi short film made on Babasaheb Ambedkar in 1968 has been included in its collection by the National Film Museum (NFAI). The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said that the film titled ‘Mahapurush Doctor Ambedkar’ was produced by the Director of Publicity, Government of Maharashtra in July 1968.
