The Amrapali Group had entered the ‘Sham Agreements’ with Ritee Sports Management Private MS Dhoni Limited (RSMPL), which promotes the home buyers’ money to’ illegally divert ‘the brand of Indian cricketer

The forensic audit report accepted by the apex court on July 23, 2019, has stated that Amrapali Neelam Developers Pvt Ltd had paid 6.52 crores, from the total amount of Rs 42.22 crores to RSMPL from 2009-2015.
With the RSMPL, the Amrapali Group had made several agreements on November 22, 2009, under which Dhoni will be made available to the Chairman for a three-day period with a representative of RSMPL.
Forensic auditor Ravi Bhatia and Pawan Kumar Agarwal said in their report, “There are no documents on record for compliance with this condition.” It has been stated in the report that it clearly shows that these agreements have been made only to Riti Sports Management Private Limited Company for payment of amounts and they are shameless agreements and are only made to pay RSMPL.
Forensic auditors have said in their search, “We believe that the money of home buyers has been diverted and redeemed in RSMPL illegally and wrongly because in our opinion this agreement does not meet the criteria of the law. “
The bench of Justice Arun Mishra and UU Lalit mentioned this in their 270-page verdict.
The report also dealt with an agreement for sponsored sponsorship on March 20, 2015, under which the Amrapali Group of Companies got the right to advertise as a logo space at various locations in the IPL 2015 for the Chennai Super Kings. “It has been observed that this agreement is on plain paper and has only been executed between Amrapali and Ritee Sports Management Pvt Ltd and there is no signature for this agreement from Chennai Super Kings.
No proposal in favor of Rite Sports Management Pvt Ltd’s signature Arun Pandey is not related to the said agreement.
