The news may sound funny, but it is a true event. The case is from Western Australia, where a geologist named Lance Carlson was suddenly attacked by an angry octopus.
It is being called the ‘most angry’ octopus on social media.
According to Lance, he went swimming on a coast in Western Australia until he was in shallow water when an octopus suddenly came and started killing him.
According to him, the first octopus attacked the neck and the back of the shoulder. He then chased Lance and hurt him on one arm.
Cold drink poured on injury
Lance told that after this attack, streaks were made on his body in many places, which continued to irritate him till he poured cold drinks on him.
Lance Carlson is a professional geologist. He has also been a life guard.
He told an interview to a local news channel in Australia that even though vinegar should be applied to the injury (wound) caused by the sea creatures, but at that time I did not have vinegar, so I had to work with cold-drink.
Said that acidic substances often work on such injuries and I found that the use of cold drinks gave me relief.
Scientists surprised by octopus attack
Lance told the media about the incident, “I and my family were staying at a resort close to the coast. I thought why not go for some swimming in the sea. At that time I was only in shallow water when I saw that some thing was following the fish. ”
“I thought she was a stingray attacking Seagull.” But upon passing, I came to know that she is an octopus. At that time, I also had a two-year-old daughter with me. I was making a video of him, then suddenly he attacked me. ”
Speaking to Reuters, Lance said, “That octopus quickly came towards us, which I was surprised to see.”
He told that when he found the octopus again, he attacked him again.
Lance said, “My glasses (goggle) were blurred when the octopus attacked. The water suddenly became very dirty and I remember that I was shocked and confused.”
