The entire lockdown has been announced in Maharashtra’s Beed district. Due to increasing cases of Coronavirus in the district, the administration has imposed a lockdown in the Beed district tomorrow (March 25) from 12 noon on Thursday to 12 noon on April 4.
Beed District:
A strict lockdown has been announced in the Beed district once again to curb the growing number of patients. Tomorrow (March 25) is the lockdown from 12 midnight on Thursday to 4 pm on April 4. In the meantime, the entire transport system in the district will be closed. Even though the essential services are on, the grocery shops will be open from 7 am to 9 am, but they will continue to follow social distance, said Ravindra Jagtap, District Collector of Beed.
What will be closed?
- Restaurants, all restaurants, lodges, hotels, malls, markets will be completely closed
- All salons, beauty parlor shops will be completely bad.
- Schools, colleges, educational institutions, training institutes, all types of teaching classes will be completely closed
- Public and private passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers will remain completely closed.
- Emergency service vehicles, pre-licensed vehicles, and private vehicles can be used for medical purposes. It is necessary to carry an identity card with you.
- Public and private bus services, trucks, tempos, trailers, etc. will be completely closed
- All types of constructions will be completely closed but government constructions will continue. Passes will be given to the employees working in these places.
- All cinemas, gyms, swimming pools, theaters will be completely closed
- Mars office, hall, a reception will be completely closed
- Social, political, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious events and gatherings will be completely closed
- Religious places / public places of worship will be completely closed
- All private offices in the Beed district will remain completely closed. But by the end of March 31, 2021, the bank will be allowed to do the work of paying the challan
- A maximum of three persons will be allowed to perform the works
- Morning Walk and Evening Walk will be restricted.
What will continue?
- All grocery store wholesalers will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Retailers will only be able to supply home grocery items from the store from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- The sale and distribution of milk will be at home till 10 am however milk collection can be continued as per the prescribed time. In the meantime, it will be mandatory to use social distance and masks.
- Vegetables and fruits will be sold to retailers between 7 and 10 a.m., during which social distance and the use of masks will be mandatory. Retailers will walk the streets wearing masks without stopping at one place and will sell from 7 to 12 in the morning.
- All private and public medical services and veterinary services will continue as per their regular schedule. All hospitals and hospital-related service establishments will continue as per their regular schedule and no hospital will deny necessary services to the patients on the basis of lockdown. Otherwise, action will be taken against the person or organization concerned.
- The online drug delivery service and all the shops attached to the clinic will be open 24 hours till April 4
- Police Petrol Pump in Beed, Nagar Road, Beed, Sai Petrol Pump, Barshi Road, Beed will be open 24 hours a day.
