The use of an antibiotic can be beneficial before the liver transplant. A recent study has found that the Liver provides better function after surgery by giving an antibiotic 10 days before the liver transplant. This is applicable to both rats and humans. After completion of experiments on mice, scientists studied the figures of liver transplant between October 2013 and August 2015, revealing that it is also true on humans.

After studying the data of patients, it has been found that the condition of a patient who consumed antibiotics was worse than surgery, but was found to be much better after surgery. Those who were healthy before surgery but did not take antibiotics, their condition worsened after surgery. Researchers arrived at the conclusion that antibiotics prevent bacteria causing inflammation, which can cause body parts to fail.

Also in this study, it was found that taking antibiotics before transplant prevents them from having problems during surgery. At the same time, Kauppi Vyalinsky said, “Antibiotics prevent damage caused by transplantation in mice.” Earlier researchers performed surgery of those rats, which were not given medicine, they had a lot of trouble. Later, to certify the effect of the antibiotic, the researchers performed the surgery of those rats, which were given the medication.
