In such a situation, states should not ban mandis or ban the sale of poultry products. His statement came after Delhi government imposed a ban on supplies from outside processed and packaged chicken.
In fact, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had said that the supply of processed and packaged chicken from outside has been banned in Delhi. He also said that it is common influenza which can spread to birds, animals or humans but bird flu does not spread from humans to humans. It can spread to humans only through contact with infected birds.
He said that those who eat chicken and egg, if they eat fully cooked chicken or boiled egg, they will not get infection. He said that the state government is taking all precautionary steps and the government is doing its best to prevent it from spreading, in such a situation there is no need to panic.
25,000 birds will be killed
in Maharashtra After the death of 900 chickens killed in Muramba village of Parbhani in Maharashtra due to bird flu, the district administration has decided to kill and bury 8,000 to 10,000 birds in the village. District Collector Deepak Mughalikar said that bird flu is the cause of death of chickens. After this, a decision has been taken to kill the birds within one kilometer radius of the village. Also, 10 km area has been declared as restricted zone.
Birds will not be brought here from any other place nor will they be taken anywhere else. A medical team has also been deployed which will examine the villagers. State Animal Husbandry Department Secretary Anoop Kumar said that people need not panic and the consumption of eggs or chicken is completely safe. At the same time, the number of birds died in Kendrebadi village of Latur district of the state is 225. Samples of some of these birds have been sent for investigation and reports are awaited. District Animal Husbandry Officer Shirish Kokan said that as per our preliminary survey, about 15.000 birds will have to be killed. The district administration on Sunday declared 10 km area of Kendrebadi as an alert zone.

Their report has also come positive. Meanwhile, 57 pigeons were found dead in Kia village of Karjan taluka of Vadodara on Sunday. Their samples have been sent to Bhopal. Special vigilance is being done in the 10 km area of the affected villages of both the districts.
26 crows in AIIMS campus in Rishikesh, one pigeon killed
Meanwhile, 26 crows and a pigeon were found dead in the AIIMS campus in Rishikesh on Sunday. AIIM’s PRO Hem Bhat said that the officials of the Forest Department and Animal Husbandry Department have collected samples of the dead birds and these have been sent for investigation. Even before this, birds were killed in various parts of the state such as Bombay Bagh area in Dehradun, Gandhigram, Bengali Kothi and Doiwala. 165 birds died in a single day in Dehradun. Their samples have been sent to the lab in Bareilly.
So far, 2950 birds have been killed in Rajasthan, rapid response teams have been formed

Birendra Singh, director of the animal husbandry department of the state, said that no cases of bird flu in poultry have been reported so far in the state.
