Chaudhary Ajit Singh Death Former Union Minister National President of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Chaudhary Ajit Singh has passed away on Thursday. He was undergoing treatment after being infected with the corona virus. His body will be cremated at Rambagh in Madanpuri, Gurugram.

National Lok Dal chief Chaudhary Ajit Singh was admitted to Artemis Hospital in Gurugram due to corona infection. Chaudhary Ajit Singh breathed his last at 8:20 am on Thursday. On 20 April, his corona virus test report came back positive. Chaudhary Ajit Singh was being treated at the hospital in Gurugram when Corona got infected. In the past, when his health deteriorated, he was kept dependent on ventilators at ICU. Former Prime Minister Late Chaudhary Charan Singh was a former MP from Baghpat. This time in Panchayat elections, his party, along with the Samajwadi Party, performed brilliantly in western Uttar Pradesh.

Jayant Chaudhary, son of Chaudhary Ajit Singh, who was a cabinet minister in the Manmohan Singh government, has also been an MP from Mathura. Chaudhary Ajit Singh was infected with the Corona virus for the past several days. Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Chaudhary Ajit Singh’s health deteriorated more on Tuesday night. He was undergoing treatment at Artemis, a private hospital in Gurugram, from 22 April. His condition became critical as his lungs developed an infection.

Famous as Chhote Chaudhary : Choudhary Ajit Singh, popularly known as Chhote Choudhary, was the son of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh and had been a seven-time MP from his native seat Baghpat. Chaudhary Ajit Singh, who was the pivot of western Uttar Pradesh politics, was also the Minister of Civil Aviation in the Central Government. National Lok Dal President Chaudhary Ajit Singh was born on 12 February 1939 in Meerut. He studied at prestigious institutions like Lucknow University and IIT Kharagpur. After working in the IBM of America for seventeen years, Chaudhary Ajit Singh returned to India in the year 1980 with the aim of reviving his father Chaudhary Charan Singh’s party Lok Dal. Ajit Singh’s son Jayant Chaudhary has been a member of the fifteenth Lok Sabha from the Mathura constituency.

Chaudhary Ajit Singh was a member of the Lok Sabha seven times and once a Rajya Sabha member

The late Chaudhary Ajit Singh was a member of the Lok Sabha from Baghpat seven times. He was also a member of the Rajya Sabha once. Ajit Singh, son of former Prime Minister and farmer leader Chaudhary Charan Singh, has been an MP since Baghpat seven times and a minister several times. He was the Minister of Agriculture in the Atal Bihari government from 2001 to 2003 and the Minister of Civil Aviation under the UPA Government in 2011. He contested from Muzaffarnagar in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections but suffered defeat. He has been given a prominent position in the Union Government Cabinet four times. Chaudhary Ajit Singh handled the legacy of ideology of his father former Prime Minister late Chaudhary Charan Singh ji and he was also recognized as the leader of the peasant-class of the country. Chaudhary Ajit Singh was also acting as the national president of the Rashtriya Lok Dal. In western UP, Chaudhary Ajit Singh was considered a major Jat leader.

Union ministers were made for the first time in 1989

Chaudhary Ajit Singh contested the Lok Sabha elections from Baghpat in 1989 for the first time and won here by a huge vote. It was from here that farmers emerged as leaders. In 1989, he was made Union Minister in the VP Singh government. Chaudhary Ajit Singh served as the Union Minister of Industry from 1989-90 in the government headed by Vishwanath Pratap Singh. After this he reached the Lok Sabha again from Baghpat in 1991. This time he was made a minister in Narasimha Rao’s government. PV During the reign of Narasimha Rao, he was also the Minister of Food and Logistics from the year 1995-1996. Reached Lok Sabha on Congress ticket for third time in 1996, But then he resigned from the Congress and the seat. Resigned from the Congress and formed the Bharatiya Kisan Kamgar Party. In the next by-elections, he won the election from Baghpat constituency as a candidate of the same party. In 1998, he had to face defeat in front of BJP’s Sompal Shastri in Baghpat Lok Sabha seat. In 1999, Ajit Singh formed the Rashtriya Lok Dal. The government was formed in alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party in the July 2001 general elections. Ajit Singh was given the charge of the Ministry of Agriculture as a cabinet minister. After this, Ajit Singh joined his party in the alliance of BJP and BSP. But shortly before the separation of BJP and BSP, Ajit Singh separated his party from BSP, Due to which the BSP government could not complete its tenure. Ajit Singh supported him till 2007 with Mulayam Singh Yadav coming to power. But he withdrew his support due to differences in peasant policies. He contested the 2009 elections as a constituent of the NDA and was elected to the fifteenth Lok Sabha. After this, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he contested from Baghpat Lok Sabha seat in alliance with the Congress but was defeated by BJP’s Chaudhary Satyapal Singh. After this, the 2019 election was held from Muzaffarnagar seat in the SP-BSP alliance. Here he had to defeat BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan. Contested the coalition but BJP’s Chaudhary Satyapal Singh defeated them in front. After this, the 2019 election was held from Muzaffarnagar seat in the SP-BSP alliance. Here he had to defeat BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan. Contested the coalition but BJP’s Chaudhary Satyapal Singh defeated them in front. After this, the 2019 election was held from Muzaffarnagar seat in the SP-BSP alliance. Here he had to defeat BJP leader Sanjeev Balyan.
