This exercise started on Monday. France’s involvement in this exercise is also special because India has finalized the purchase of Rafale fighter jets from there. The strength of the Air Force has increased considerably with this aircraft joining the Indian Air Force. A few days ago, France handed over two more Rafale aircraft to India. France’s involvement in this practice also shows the strengthening of alliances between the two countries.
According to the spokesperson of the Indian Navy, this exercise will establish better and higher-level coordination between the allied forces. It also reflects the shared values of the member countries of the Quad. Indian Navy Ships Satpura, Kilton, and LongRange Maritime Petrol Aircraft P-8I are participating during the exercise. Significantly, China has been declaring its occupation on the South China Sea. Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brunei, Taiwan also claim their rights in this area. China is very aggressive about this whole area and has also faced America. There have also been sharp statements about this between the two countries.
China feels that the Quad is being pushed forward only to stop its movement. China’s statement about the practice going on in the Indian Ocean is also reflecting this fear. However, India considers this exercise necessary to enhance its military capabilities. Talking about the South China Sea, he has even built his army base camp on some islands there. It is also under construction on several other islands. He constantly threatens ships from other countries coming to the region.
