DAO electric scooters

Chinese brand DAO has launched a range of low-speed scooters Vidyut 106, Vidyut 108, and ZOR 405 in India, joining the race for electric vehicles in India. Before this, the company has also recently introduced the DAO 703 electric scooter in the Indian market.

Currently, many startups in electric mobility are entering the segment with their vehicles, as the demand for these scooters for B2B and B2C business purposes is steadily increasing in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.

The point to note here is that low-cost electric scooters cost very little, and the rider usually does not require a license to drive it on Indian roads.

The three low-speed electric scooters launched by DAO EV Tech are almost identical, but the Vidyut 106 and Vidyut 108 variants are designed for personal transport purposes. The ZOR 405 is a commercial-friendly scooter.

These three scooters use a 250Kwh BLDC hub electric motor, and a 1.38Kwh battery is provided to power this electric motor, with a top speed limited to 25 kmph.

Talking about the driving range, the company claims that Vidyut 106 and Vidyut 108 are capable of giving a range of about 80km in a single charge. Along with this, the driving range of other scooters is limited to 70km.

Let us tell you that the top speed of these scooters is limited to 25kmph, due to which a driving license will not be required to drive them.

Talking about the design, the company has included LED headlights, LCD console, and cruise control for reverse function, keyless ignition, etc. At present, the company has not made any announcement regarding the price of these scooters.
