What is Congo fever?
This infection is found in various countries of Asia including Africa and Europe. Symptoms of this infection first appeared in the year 1944 in Crimea. In 1969, the virus caused significant damage in Congo. Since then it is also known as Crimean Congo Virus. In 2001, there were many cases of the virus in Africa including Iran and Pakistan.

According to doctors, this virus first catches animals. It spreads to people by coming into contact with them. The possibility of death of a person who is vulnerable to this virus is quite high. Once caught, the virus spreads throughout the body in 3 to 9 days.
