Corona will postpone UP board examinations In view of the worsening situation in Corona, the UP Board’s high school and intermediate examinations starting May 8 are also considered to be postponed. After the cancellation of the CBSE high school examination and postponement of the inter examinations, the students are now eyeing the decision regarding the UP board examinations. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that UP board examinations will also be postponed if Corona has similar circumstances.
Dr. Sharma said that 17 of the 19 officers employed in the board examination work are Corona positive. Apart from Additional Chief Secretary (Secondary Education) Aradhana Shukla, three Special Secretary, Director and five Deputy Director level officers are included in this. In such a situation, we are waiting for them to recover. The meeting will take place as soon as the officers are healthy and a decision will be taken on the UP Board’s High School and Intermediate examination.

He said that on the lines of CBSE, all options such as cancellation of high school examination and postponement of intermediate examination will be considered. The high school already has an internal assessment. There will be a discussion on whether to base it or prepare some other formula. It is to be known that more than 56 lakh students have been registered in UP Board High School and Intermediate Examination this year.
