A painful accident happened in the country’s capital Delhi on Tuesday night. Four people were burnt to death in the incident, while one person suffered burns. Who has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
According to the information, a cylinder blast took place in Shahdara area of East Delhi. Which caught fire. Four people died due to scorching in the fire. While a person got burnt cow. Fire Department Director Atul Garg told news agency ANI that the incident took place in Farz Bazar area of Shahdara.
The police, who reached the spot, took the bodies in their possession and sent them for post-mortem. police is investigating the matter.
Cylinder burst during filling, many lives were saved.
Before that, on Tuesday itself, the cylinder exploded while filling gas in a small cylinder in Tughlakabad Extension. It is being told that four cylinders exploded one after the other. The shop caught fire. The fire engulfed the four-storey house. Four shops burnt down.
This caused panic in the area. 10 vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and brought the fire under control in about one and a half hours. There is no report of any casualty in the fire.
According to South-East district police officers, Satish Gupta’s shop is in RZ 101B street number seven. Satish used to fill gas from bigger cylinders to smaller cylinders. The cylinder exploded while filling gas on Tuesday evening. Which caught fire. Apart from the toy shop, the fire engulfed two other shops.
The fire also broke out on the first floor of the four-floor building. Police and fire department were informed about this at 6.18 pm. Due to the narrow road, the fire department vehicles could not reach the spot. The fire was brought under control by pouring water through a pile line.
Neighbor Ravi Khera told that he has a toy shop in the neighborhood. The fire had reached his shop. The fire destroyed the entire contents of his shop. The power to street number seven was cut due to the fire.
It got dark because of the power cut. Due to this people had to face problems. Govindpuri police station has registered a case against Satish Gupta and investigation is on to find out how many cylinders were torn.
