Bahadurgarh, JNN. Paved construction on the National Highway has come to a standstill amidst the ongoing Farmers agitation against three agricultural laws. Recently, strictness was shown by the police-administration in this matter. Simultaneously an FIR was also registered. Before that construction was going on, but the police-administration has now kept an eye on the site of the movement. Now the new borewell is also not happening on the highway land. However, no action was taken by the police administration to remove the old paved construction and borewells.
The police is trying to make sure no more construction is done. However, the archers have been arguing that the construction has been done so far that it is not an occupation. When the movement ends, they will remove this construction on their own, but it is not yet decided how long this movement will last.
Both sides keep an eye on the election results of the five states:
Negotiations between the top leaders of the government and the agitators could not begin. Now both the parties are busy in the elections of five states and both are eyeing the election results of these states. The agitating leaders are working on creating an atmosphere against the ruling BJP at the Center in these states. In such a situation, both sides are in a position to wait and watch. The leaders of the farmers’ organizations also have the feeling that if the results of the campaign in which they are engaged these days do not come to suit them, then in the coming days they will come under pressure to talk to the government.
