Today, Former State Bank of India (SBI) chairman Pratip Chaudhuri Hospitalized in Jawahar hospital in Jaipur as he got restlessness and hypertension, according to media report.Pratip Chaudhuri was caught in Big Loan Scam, After interrogation Pratip Chaudhuri sent to 14 days Judicial Custody on Monday. Pratip Chaudhuri alleged Loan Scam, involved in sale of hotel “Garh Rajwada” when the company defaulted on Loan.
“Garh Rajwada” A hotel project in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, was financed by the SBI Bank in 2007. The ongoing Project was remained incomplete over the three year. And account was consider into non-performing assets (NPA) in 2010.
According to the Police report, the case was registered against him in 2015 for allegedly seizing the premier hotel property in the loan settlement case and selling it at a throwaway price with fraud process means to an assets reconstruction company (ARC).
They also said that Pratip joined the company on the position of Board of the Directory and bought the hotel. The name include in the list of case who joined the Board and Directors of the company in 2014. Pratip Chaudhuri was retired from the bank in September 2013, The Statement added.
