Prohibition on the gathering of more than five persons
Citing the COVID-19 situation, police on Thursday prohibited the gathering of five or more persons during Ganesh Utsav between September 10 and 19 in Mumbai under Section 144 of CrPC. No procession of any kind will be allowed in the city during this period and devotees will not be allowed to visit Ganesh pandals, an official statement said.
