On April 10 Google Home and Home Mini Bluetooth speakers will be launched on Flipkart.

Flipkart has already listed the two speakers on its site and that means both Google Home and Home Mini will be available only on the Flipkart website.Google home

Whether Google makes these speakers available offline, is anybody’s guess, but we will have to wait and see if that happens as it happened with Pixel 2 smartphones.

It was in Apples I/O 2016 conference that Google Home was launched, while the mini speaker was launched in 2017, with the Pixel 2 smartphone.

Google Home sells for $129 in the US, which is Rs 8392 in Indian currency, but with taxes, the price can be expected to be higher in India, although the final pricing has not been confirmed.

While Google Home mini sells at $49 or Rs 3,987 in the US. Google might price it below Rs 4000 to make it affordable for Indian customers.

Both the speakers will be launched in an event in the capital. There is no confirmation whether a live stream of the event will be possible. As of now customers can visit Flipkart and register for Google Home and Home Mini online.

Both of the offering from Google can listen to Voice Commands and come powered with Google Assistant. Google has launched these in competition with Amazon’s Echo speakers.

You can ask questions like “Is it going to rain in Mumbai today” and the speakers will tell you the answer.

Both the speakers will obviously play music and can also be used to control electrical lights and fans provided you have smart lighting in your house which is connected to Wi-Fi

Customers all over India are anxiously waiting for its launch and are eager to buy the speakers as soon as they are available.
