The weather has caused havoc

Even today, there is an alert of heavy hailstorm with rain (Heavy Rains and Hailstorm Alert in Delhi). The same situation was seen in hilly areas along with Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana.
Even today rain has been predicted in North India including Delhi. At the same time, there is an alert of strong rains in the three hill states of Himachal, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir including Punjab, Haryana. After two to three days of rain, the cold wave will start again, that is, there is no end to the cold weather.

Clouds rained heavily from Delhi to Noida and Ghaziabad. The rain, which started at 5 in the morning, continued intermittently till the evening after being stopped for some time. The rains in the midst of severe cold have increased the trouble.
Rain caused increased temperatures
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is due to the minimum temperature increased slightly. Safdarjung recorded a minimum temperature of 9.9 degrees Celsius. There has been 25 mm of rain. Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 11.4 degrees while 18 mm of rain was recorded there.
The Meteorological Department had already predicted that from the third day of the beginning of the year, Delhi NCR and North India would get bitter as well as rain. Fall in Delhi also, in the coming days, a cold wave will increase once again in Delhi NCR and North India, due to which the temperature will also drop.
The 15-year record broken in January was welcomed by the dense fog and torture of 1.1 degrees. The record of the last 15 years was broken on that day.
According to the department, the condition will remain the same till 6 January. After this, from January 7, North India will once again be in the grip of the bitter cold.
The thickness of Kashmir has also changed these days
In Qazigund, about 9 inches thick. Snow is visible in the snow. White sheets are lying on Srinagar, Gulmarg, and all the hilly areas. It was also snowing there yesterday. Snowfall started in most areas of North Kashmir from late night on Sunday.
According to the information, Srinagar received a snowfall of about 4 inches yesterday. At the same time, a thick layer of snow was spread for about 9 inches in Qazigund. The movement of flights at Srinagar Airport was also affected due to this weather.

Lal Chowk of Srinagar is completely covered in snow, there is snow on the streets and houses. Markets are deserted due to continuous snowfall. The continuous snowfall in Srinagar has affected Jammu.
