Worship method of Hanuman Jayanti:
On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, worship Hanuman ji in Abhijit Muhurta. First of all, spread a red cloth on the post in the north-east direction. Install the idol of Lord Rama along with Hanuman. Offer red flowers to Hanuman ji and yellow flowers to Ram ji. Offer laddus. Offer Tulsi Dal also. First chant Shri Ram’s mantra ‘Om Ram Ramay Namah’. Then chant Hanuman ji’s mantra ‘Om Han Hanumate Namah’.

There are two auspicious times for worshiping Bajrangbali on Hanuman Jayanti. You can worship Anjaniputra as per your wish in any auspicious time.
First Muhurta – 9:03 am to 10:41 am
Second Muhurta (Abhijeet Muhurta) – 11:53 am to 12:46 pm
Third Muhurta (night time) – 8:14 pm to 9:35 pm to the minute
Things To Do On Hanuman Jayanti 2024
To protect your health: install such a picture of Hanuman ji in which he is holding a mountain of Sanjeevani herb. Light a ghee lamp in front of Hanuman ji. Offer them kheer and basil leaves. pray for good health
For knowledge and wisdom:put a picture of Hanuman ji reading Ramayana. Light a four-sided lamp of ghee in front of Hanuman ji. Offer jaggery to Hanumanji. Then pray for education, knowledge and wisdom.
To overcome the crisis, install a picture of Lord Hanuman holding a mace. Light a jasmine oil lamp in front of Hanuman ji. Offer vermilion to them and pray to remove the trouble.
For wealth: establish that form of Hanuman ji in which Sita and Ram are seen residing in his heart. Light nine ghee lamps in front of Hanuman ji and offer him red flowers. After this, pray for attainment of wealth and freedom from debt.
Interesting facts about Lord Hanuman
- It’s said that when Lord Hanuman was younger, he thought the sun looked like a ripe mango. He attempted to devour it as a result, turning the earth dark. Then, in an attempt to preserve the universe, Lord Indra struck Lord Hanuman’s jaw, disfiguring it with his vajra. That is the origin of Lord Hanuman’s name.
- All of Lord Rama’s followers were invited to go with him to paradise when he ascended. Lord Hanuman, however, declined, stating that reciting the name of Rama is more pleasant than being in heaven. In order to safeguard the followers of Lord Rama who recite the Lord’s name, Lord Hanuman chose to remain on Earth.
- Lord Hanuman vehemently opposed Lord Yama’s plan to capture Lord Rama and carry him to paradise. He acted as a barrier blocking Lord Yama’s access to Ayodhya. Lord Rama then had to deceive Lord Hanuman in order to grant Lord Yama entry.
- At one point, Lord Hanuman witnessed Goddess Sita putting sindoor on her forehead in order to prolong the life of Lord Rama. To save Lord Rama’s life, Lord Hanuman therefore covered his entire body with sindoor. That’s how the name Bajrang Bali was given to him.
