He also said that the US wants to ensure that the incidents like the murder of journalist Jamal Khashojji were not in the future and that the two countries should work together on issues of common concern.
Just before the report arrived, the US Secretary of State
Announced a ban on traveling to the US of a total of 76 Saudi Arab officials who are alleged to have threatened to intimidate Saudi nationals living abroad.
President of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi also issued a statement saying that the US Congress fully supports President Joe Biden’s decision to raise the purview of human rights and defend his principles.
