India beat Australia by 8 wickets 2nd Test Day 4 The second match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia is being played in Melbourne. On the fourth day of the match, the hosts started the game by 133 runs for 6 wickets in their second innings and the entire team was all out for 200 runs. In this way India got a target of 70 runs to win. Australia’s team was piled on for 195 runs in the first innings, while India scored 131 runs to take a lead of 326. India achieved the target of 1–1 in the series, winning the loss of 2 wickets in 15.5 overs.

India’s second innings, match won by 8 wickets

Chasing 70 runs from Australia, after lunch, Shubman Gill and Mayank Agarwal pair came on the field for the Indian team. Mitchell Starc gave the first blow to the Indian team in the second innings, dismissing Mayank for 5 runs. After this, Pat Cummins took the wicket of Cheteshwar Pujara, the most trusted batsman. Captain Ajinkya Rahane, who came to the ground after two wickets fell, teamed up with young Shubman to lead India to victory.In 15.5 overs, the Indian team scored the required 70 runs to win and got 1-1 in the series. Rahane returned unbeaten after scoring 27 runs while Shubman 35.

Australia’s second innings limited to 200

In the second innings, Australia’s team lost 6 wickets on the third day for a score of 99 runs. At one time, the team was in danger of losing the innings, but Cameron Green and Pat Cummins, playing the second match, got the team out of this difficulty. Matthew Wade scored 40 runs for Australia in the second innings, while Marnus Labushane scored 28 runs.

On the fourth day, Jasprit Bumrah bowled out Pat Cummins on a shot ball while giving Australia’s first blow. A 57-run partnership with Green gave Australia a significant lead. After playing 103 balls, Cummins scored 22 runs and gave his catch to Mayank Agarwal. Mohammed Siraj gave the eighth blow to Australia by batting on 45, caught by Cameron Green at the hands of Ravindra Jadeja.

The 9th wicket fell as Nathan Lyon, while R Ashwin ended Australia’s second innings at 200 runs by bowling Josh Hazlewood. India made the lead in the first innings

After Australia were all out for 195, India achieved a significant lead of 131 runs on the basis of 112 runs by captain Ajinkya Rahane. Ravindra Jadeja scored 57 runs in the first innings while Shubman Gill, playing the first match, contributed 45 runs.
