Sri Lanka innings, Sanath Jayasuriya scored 43 runs

Sri Lanka’s team had a target of 182 runs to win. In the second innings, the Sri Lankan team came out to chase this target, Sanath Jayasuriya and captain Tillakaratne Dilshan got a good start and shared a 62-run partnership for the first wicket. Dilshan then was dismissed by 21 runs and soon after that Chamara Silva returned to the pavilion for just two runs. Jayasuriya smashed a 43-run knock off 35 balls with the help of a six and 5 fours, but Yusuf Pathan put an end to his innings. Upul Tharanga was dismissed by 13 runs.
