Corona’s special investigation campaign across the state on April 22

A special investigation drive will be launched on April 22 to identify the maximum corona infected patients in the state. In this campaign, corona will be screened with a rapid antigen test of potential patients. In this, the corona of migrant laborers, health workers, police personnel, shopkeepers, people working in the hot markets, the sick, the elderly, etc. will be investigated on a large scale. National Health Campaign Director Ravi Shankar Shukla has issued orders to all the Deputy Commissioners in this regard.

He has said in his order that priority should be given to old people and weak people coming from other states in the corona investigation. Rapid antigen tests should compulsorily test people with symptomatic RT-PCR or TRUNET when the test report is negative. Let it be said that this will be the first special expedition to be tested in the second wave with rapid antigen test. In the first wave, it was very effective in identifying the infected, because it was getting reports in a single day. At present, most of the investigations are being done by TRUNET or RT-PCR. There are about 37 thousand samples pending for investigation. At present, 38 thousand to 40 thousand samples are being tested every day.

The need for large number of beds will increase

Here, a large number of new patients are likely to be identified in a day due to the corona examination of a large number of people in a special screening campaign. A large number of these patients can also be serious. In such a situation, a large number of beds may be required by 22 April. Its arrangement will have to be prepared in advance. However, the Director of the campaign has also asked all the Deputy Commissioners to review the beds, seeing the possibility of getting infected in large numbers in the investigation.
