New Delhi Game reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati airing on Sony TV is going on last week. Many contestants have arrived in the last week of this show. Recently, Avinash Kumar Mahanta came on the hotseat in front of Amitabh Bachchan, who was heavily burdened with taking the lifeline, and had to leave the show due to wrong answers.
Avinash Kumar reached Mahanta on the KBC show last day. Seeing the knowledge of Avinash, Big B was also very impressed because Avinash won a sum of Rs. 3 lakh 20 thousand without using any lifeline. Avinash did a better performance and reached the 12 lakh 50 thousand question for which he was asked the question-

Avinash is very much interested in cricket, yet he was stuck in this question. Avinash thought of taking his first life line after thinking, due to which he used the audience poll. 39 per cent of the people present in the show voted for Option C ie Lala Amarnath.
Amitabh Bachchan warned Avinash that even after every time it is not necessary that the audience’s guess is correct, Avinash decided to go with the audience and locked Option C.
After getting the answer, Amitabh told the contestant that his answer was wrong. The correct answer to this question was Option B Syed Mushtaq Ali. Avinash Kumar could win the entire Rs 12 lakh 50 thousand by answering this question correctly, but later he had to go home with only Rs 3 lakh 20 thousand.
At the time of going with the audience poll, Amitabh had also told him that the questions of 12 lakh 50 thousand are a bit difficult, but Avinash preferred to go with the public. Although the audience often turns out to be right, getting the wrong answer in this episode was a bit shocking.
