Looking at the current situation of the movement, it seems that if there is no agreement with the government, then this movement can be prolonged.
The practice of replacing bamboo-bat tents, steel structures and tents on them has started on the Singhu border between Delhi and Haryana. The work of installing AC and coolers in many tents is also going on vigorously.
Simranjit Singh, a resident of Moga, Punjab, has been agitating along with other farmers on the Singhu border for more than three months.
showed his trolley, which has been surrounded with ply boards to install AC.
He said that now the farmers do not think that the movement will end soon and the government will accept their demands.
He says, “Now it looks long stretched.
That is why we are making the same kind of preparations. Now days are ready, we are ready.”
The Singhu border has started to look like a sub-city in itself. People are living as ‘houses’ in trolleys. Tents have also been made like houses. There are big washing machines installed somewhere, and shops of footwear on the streets.
At the same time, a young man is selling a T-shirt which reads, ‘No farmer, no food’. Stickers written in the same way also appear on vehicles.
‘Blue tooth’ speakers and power banks are being sold at small temporary shops. Apart from this, everyday things are needed. Anchor, tea and sorbet tents are also in place.
On the completion of hundred days on March 6,
the United Kisan Morcha has prepared the outline of many events of protest.
Darshan Pal, a farmer leader of the United Kisan Morcha, says,
“From March 6, the pattern of the movement will also change.
They say that the KMP Expressway will be blocked for five hours on that day starting at 11 am and four in the evening. Will last till noon. ”
