A recent research has revealed that by taking the right diet, not only our health is not only good, but the health of the earth is also good. Yes, some people may be surprised how our food will make the health of the earth. Come, let us know about the results of the study.
Eating foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains, olive oil and fish in our daily diet keeps us healthy, along with preventing many diseases. Our death risk is less. This happens because their consumption does not cause much harm to the environment. At the same time, the consumption of things like red meat not only poses a threat to human life, but also causes heavy damage to the environment.
According to David Dillman, economist and head of research at the University of Minnesota, it feels a very boring pattern that a diet is good for human life , It is also good for the health of the earth. But we included 15 types of foods in our research, which are very useful for human health. While researching these, we focused on which group’s food over affects all death risk. Along with this, development of diseases like heart disease, colon cancer, diabetes and stroke was also monitored.
During the research, these 15 types of food were tested in 4 different categories. Among these, the consumption of red meat proved to be the most harmful to human life. It also has the worst effect on the environment. Subsequently, egg, chicken, fish and dairy products have also been included in the poor category.
According to the researchers, the reason is that we get all these products from organisms and to raise these organisms, we have to arrange food first. After the arrangement of their food and then their consumption, it has a bad effect on every aspect of the environment along with consumption. Whereas, by eating the food from direct earth, we not only get nourishment but also take care of the Earth and it does not have to bear any extra weight. Therefore, if we do not include foods with bad effects in our diet, then our environment will be better along with our health.
