A Major accident in Sidhi of Madhya Pradesh this morning. A bus carrying 54 passengers fell into a canal at Sidhi. Seven people have been rescued from the canal so far. The accident took place at Chuhiaghati near the Rewa-Sidhi border. This is the canal of Bansagar project, in which the bus has fallen.
The people evacuated from the canal have not yet been identified. Search is on for the rest of the passengers. A team is present on the spot, the operation is going on. At the time when this accident happened, the bus was going from direct to Satna. It is being told that the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the bus.
According to the report, the canal is so deep that the bus is completely submerged in it. Efforts are on to get the bus out of the crane. The water coming out of Bansagar Dam has been sealed. So that the bus can be stopped from high speed. It is reported that Baghwar, Chorgarhi and other nearby passengers were also aboard the bus. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has talked to the direct collector regarding the bus accident.

After this accident, the nearby villagers and other people are busy evacuating people trapped in the bus. A large number of villagers have gathered on the spot. As soon as the information about the incident is received, the relatives of the people riding in the bus are also reaching the spot.
