Early Life Of Mary Kom:
Mary Kom’s parents, who were both employed by Jhum cultivation, hailed from a low-income family. She attended the rural school until the eighth standard, after which she transferred to Imphal to complete the ninth and tenth standards. When she didn’t do well on her examinations, she quit school and opted to take her tenth-grade exams privately. She was talented in sports since she was young and was motivated by Indian fighter Dingko Singh. At the age of 15, she eventually chose to make boxing her career. She concealed her passion in boxing from her father because he was concerned that it might damage her face and end her chances of getting married.
