Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will arrive in London on Monday for a four-day visit to Britain. He will attend the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the G-7 countries there. The G-7 is a group of the world’s richest countries. India has been invited as a guest country in it.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Jaishankar will hold a meeting with the foreign ministers of the G-7 countries from May 3 to 6. He will then discuss bilateral issues with Britain’s Foreign Minister Dominic Raab and other leaders. The member countries of the G-7 who will take part in the meeting are Britain, America, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan.

Before leaving for the UK, Jaishankar spoke to Qatar‘s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani over the phone on Sunday. The situation of Corona infection was discussed between the two leaders. Meanwhile, Jaishankar thanked Thani for sending oxygen-related material to Qatar amidst the difficulty of Corona infection in India.
