Another vaccine will now be included in the corona vaccination. On Tuesday, the vaccine of American pharma company Moderna has got permission for emergency use in India. NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul said that the country has now got the fourth vaccine. Due to being included in the World Health Organization (WHO) list, there will be no bridging trial of Moderna Vaccine in India.

In the very first meeting that lasted till 3 pm on Tuesday evening, the Drug Controller General of India has approved the Cipla company’s application for emergency use of Moderna as the fourth vaccine in India.

This vaccine can be kept safe for up to seven months. It is kept safe between -25 to -50 degree temperature. In general, the modern vaccine will need a temperature around -20 degrees. If the vial is not open, then it can be kept in two to eight degree temperature for 30 days. It is necessary to take two doses between four weeks.

Then after the vaccination of 100 people, they will be studied after which it will be available in hospitals. This process may take about a month. It has been learned that this vaccine will be available at the vaccination centers from the last week of July.

A senior official of the Expert Action Committee (SEC) under the Drug Controller General of India said that at present, this vaccine will come to India from abroad for a few months, but talks are going on with pharma companies regarding its production here too. According to the information they have received, the Cipla company will keep a close watch on the Modernna vaccine, while other companies can enter into an agreement for its production.

past several days, the government is in talks with pharma companies for many foreign vaccines including Pfizer. Pfizer has put a condition before bringing the vaccine to India. He says that if a person has side effects after getting the vaccine, then his responsibility or damage will not be the responsibility of the company.

On the basis of this condition, Pfizer has so far signed agreements in many countries of the world, but the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not yet taken a decision on it. NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul says that it is not possible to accept such conditions outright. If Pfizer gets this permission, then others will also have to give permission. Therefore, at present talks are going on with the pharma company regarding this issue.
