However, UNICEF has stated that there is a possibility of delay in the supply of Corona virus vaccine, which is received in March and April under the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) agreement from India.

India will also continue to help other countries in dealing with this epidemic. So far, India has supplied 6.04 crore doses of anti-corona vaccine to about 80 countries. Some of these doses have been sent by India as an aid. Whereas, some have been exported through commercial agreements and some through Kovacs. Kovacs is a UN-backed international initiative aimed at ensuring equal distribution of the corona vaccine among all countries.
It is to be noted that from April 1, all people above 45 years of age are to be vaccinated, in such a large number of vaccines will be needed in the country.
