State Minister Rekha Arya honored smart phones by the Minister of State Rekha Arya in a ceremony organized by the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development on the National Girl’s Day 2021 at the IRTD auditorium. He said that our daughters are our pride.
The Minister of State of the Department said that the government is committed to respect and self-respect of girls and women. All the apps related to enlightenment of girls have been kept in smart phones, which will benefit them.
He said that there has been a considerable improvement in the sex ratio in the state. Due to which Uttarakhand has got a place in the list of top ten at the national level, which is a matter of pride for the state.
The Minister of State said that daughters are not lagging behind sons in any field in the changing times. He has proved himself in every field and has succeeded in making equal space for children. Almora 17, 8 from Bageshwar, 10 from Champawat, 12 from Chamoli, 10 from Dehradun, 12 from Nainital, 12 from Pithoragarh, 20 from Pauri, 14 from Tehri, 9 from Rudprayag, Haridwar. Smart phones were given to 11 girls, 10 from Udham Singh Nagar and 14 meritorious girls from Uttarkashi.
MIS system portal released
Minister of State Rekha Arya released the information management system portal created in collaboration with NIC for the department. On this occasion, technical director NIC NS Negi and Anuj presented the MIS system. He informed that through this portal, information of departmental budget and Anganwadi etc. will be available on one click.
