The earthquake came together in 4 countries

Earlier on February 13, there was a strong earthquake in 4 countries simultaneously. The earthquake was 7.5 on the Richter scale. Four countries were as follows :

  • Afghanistan,
  • India,
  • Pakistan and
  • Tajikistan

The tremor effects were felt in 8 states which created panic and chaos that led people to come out of their houses

Sydney According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake was felt near New Caledonia at around 6.50 pm on Wednesday evening. The epicenter of the earthquake was several miles off the coast of New Zealand and Australia. It was even felt at sea several miles away from the land. According to the sources, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers from the surface. The earthquake was measured 7.9 on the Richter scale which further led to a tsunami warning that has been issued since the earthquake struck.

Nevertheless, there is no such loss of any kind of property damage has been reported.

 

Earthquake New Zealand Tsunami

 

The Tsunami Warning Center has issued multiple warnings for New Zealand, Vanuatu, and other Pacific islands after the earthquakes.

On Wednesday, there were strong earthquakes within the sea in western Indonesia. However, no injuries have been reported yet. The National Center for Seismology reported that the quake’s intensity was 6.2 on the Richter scale and 10 kilometers inside the ocean. Its center was to the south-southwest of the city of Bengkulu in the province of Bengkulu on the island of Sumatra. However, Indonesia’s meteorological agency has not yet issued a tsunami warning and no casualties were reported from the immediate earthquake.
