In a story which revolves around the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998, John starrer Parmanu brings a forgotten chapter back to the limelight.
If you are a history buff and are interested in the Army operations then this film is just for you. Other than that there are very few reasons why you should go and catch this film.
These are the reason you should watch the film Parmanu:
John Abraham is back:
All of us have loved John’s films like Dostana and Garam Masala and it has been some time since he has come up with a news film. Parmanu will see him back in action. Certainly John’s fans are looking forward to this thriller.
John Abraham is a producer:
Both in Madras Cafe and Vicky Donor, John has proved himself to be a competent producer in the past. His films are high on quality content and also a commercial success. In Parmanu John is taking a risk again with offbeat cinema. Only time will tell how well the film does on the box office.
The Film’s Plot:
The film recreates the India of 1998 and it is not an easy job to do. Only a handful of films have been able to do this successfully. Parmanu is another such attempt and we will have to wait and watch how it does on the box office.
High on Patriotism:
With Raazi, the patriotism bug has caught Indian Cinema and thus the timing of this film couldn’t have been better. After Raazi, Parmanu promises to bring a fresh perspective with regard to patriotism.
Diana Penty as a lead actress:
Diana is still new to Bollywood and is only 3 films old. She will play Ambalika, an Army officer in Parmanu after playing Meera in Cocktail and Gayatri in Lucknow Central.
