Pathan Movie Controversy
Controversy surrounding Pathan movie: Pathan, a forthcoming film starring Shahrukh Khan, continues to be the subject of controversy, with burned posters and calls for its prohibition. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) demanded an apology from Khan for the song “Besharam Rang” from his upcoming film Pathan following the burning of his effigy and a call to boycott the movie.
The VHP’s joint general secretary, Surendra Jain, called Khan “arrogant” and threatened to stop the movie Pathan from being distributed if he didn’t apologize.
In his speech in Kolkata, the actor said that India’s social media had become more narrow-minded. In response to this, the leader of the VHP went on to say, “Instead of apologizing, Shahrukh Khan has turned arrogant.”
Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan, as indicated by Jain, has embarrassed the Hindu religion and all of India by comparing Bhagwa tone with “Beshram Rang.”
A group of activists staged a protest on Wednesday in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, against the upcoming Bollywood film Pathaan and its song, “Besharam Rang.” There was a protest after state minister Narottam Mishra demanded that the movie be banned for having “objectionable scenes” and costumes made of saffron.
According to PTI, activists from the Veer Shivaji Group set fire to actor effigies of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone at a traffic light.
Protests are currently focused on the upcoming Pathan film starring Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan. Boycotts on social media are on the rise. The Sant Samaj’s response is now being discussed as well. Sadhvi Ritambhara, who traveled to Ujjain for the Sant Samagam, discussed the film with the media. He said that he would register a protest against the Pathan movie and criticized the use of saffron-colored clothing in the film.
Furthermore, objecting were these saints and sadhvis
Sadhvi Ritambhara asserts that we must guard our own self-respect. Do not let the pursuit of pleasure impair your dignity. You should not watch these movies. Anyplace that subverts our confidence. eliminate their business. We would not concede that Indian culture and our ideals were violated, even if these individuals rubbed their noses in Maa Bhagwati’s temple.
According to Dr. Awadheshpuri, the song “Besharam Rang” in this movie uses the color saffron to highlight the producers’ incorrect assumptions. These saints and sadhvis, Swastik Peethadhishwar, also objected. For the sake of freedom of speech, saffron culture should not be insulted. Saffron is not a brazen color. This color is a symbol of pride and self-sacrifice for the Sanatani people.
This nation needn’t bother with Pathans or Mughals, as per Mahamandaleshwar Master Atuleshanand Saraswati (Acharya Shekhar), and Madhya Pradesh shouldn’t show such a disgusting film that ridicules our way of life. We will strongly oppose this film and will not, under any circumstances, permit its release. “If someone tampers with the pride of our identity, then it should be severely condemned,” Sadhvi Satyapriya said from Vrindavan. A religion should never be accepted when it is mocked as entertainment. It would be ideal for diversion to be perfect.
A request for the Home Minister to prohibit the movie Pathan
A request for the Home Minister to prohibit Pathan was discussed, as was the possibility of submitting a complaint regarding the film to the Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh. In addition, there have been demonstrations against the movie’s color and the song Besharam. If the producer-director did not improve the film, it was said that the state government would decide whether or not to approve its distribution. The minister of home affairs issued this warning.
