Petrol and diesel prices increased again today. Today, its prices continue to rise continuously for the seventh day. On Monday 15 February, petrol and diesel prices once again reached record levels. After the increase in the price from oil marketing companies, the price of petrol and diesel increased by 25-30 paise per liter today.
According to the Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 88.99 per liter, while diesel reached Rs 79.35 per liter. It is worth noting that the government was criticizing the continuous increase in the price of petrol and diesel, which Dharmendra Pradhan had given in the Rajya Sabha recently. Pradhan had said that the government has no role in the increase in oil prices and it depends on international prices. Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday blamed the oil producing countries for artificially inflating prices. He said that I am sorry to say that the oil producing countries are not thinking about the interests of the consumer countries, this is causing problems to the consumer countries.
