PM Modi To Commission 'Swadeshi INS Vikrant Today

The India’s first indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant will become a part of the Indian Navy today. Along with this, the word ‘INS’ will be added in front of this ship. Welcoming the commissioning of Vikrant, a tweet from the official Twitter of the Public Relations Unit of the Indian Navy read, “Legend is back.” It has been told in this tweet that the joining and reappearance of IAC Vikrant will strengthen the defense preparedness and it will also be a fitting tribute to our heroes of the 1971 war.

PM Narendra Modi will commission it into the Indian Navy at Cochin Shipyard Limited at 9.30 am.
