After a blockbuster performance in season one, Jaideep Ahlawat’s starrer Paatal Lok’s Season 2 is winning hearts across the country. Many critics and audiences have tagged it as the best OTT web series (Indian). The season is directed by Avinash Arun and created by Sudip Sharma. After season 1, Jaideep Ahlawat is returning with Hathiram Chaudhary. He is supported by Anurag Arora as Virk and Ishwak Singh as Imran Ansari.

The initial life of Prashant Tamang is itself a filmy story. He was born in 1983 in Darjeeling, India. His life changed when an accident took the life of his father. To manage everything, he left his studies in between and joined the forces of Kolkata Police. He joined as a constable in the stead of his father. He was also a part of the police orchestra.
Another turn was taken in his life in 2007 when he auditioned for the famous singing reality show Indian Idol season 3. He was urged by some of his seniors and friends. He not only cleared the initial rounds but won the show by defeating well-known Amit Paul. He defeated his co-contestant by a huge margin. Upon winning the show, he was given a trophy along with a cash prize.
Following the win, he went on a world tour. After this, he also released a debut album named Dhanyavad. This album features Hindi as well as Nepali songs. Upon seeing success in the singing world, he decided to taste acting. For this, he started his acting career with Nepali films in 2009.
His first film was Gorkha Paltan (2010). The movie saw great success at the box office. After this, he featured in different films. Some of them are Pardesi, Kina Maya Ma, Angalo Yo Maya Ko, and Nishani.
