On 29 November, Maulana of Budhan Shah’s Dargah at Hijwadi police station received a call, he informed the police about a rotten unclaimed corpse.
Half burnt corpse found A half-burnt corpse was recovered by the police in a pit two to two and a half feet in a field behind this dargah adjoining the Mumbai Bangalore highway in the Baner area of Pune city.
The corpse was sent for post-mortem. During the investigation, police found a wallet, Bluetooth and some burnt clothes from the scene.
Two mobile numbers were found written on a letter from the wallet. The police officer said in the report that the cause of death was multiple stabs on the body and later the body was burnt. The face was not recognized due to the very badly burned and rotten corpse.
Due to which it was difficult to carry forward the investigation. The investigation progressed with the help of the letter, now to take forward the investigation in front of the police, there were only two mobile numbers written on that letter.

One of the two was told to switch off. At the same time, another mobile number responded and the person was called by the police to the police station. However, none of this increased the investigation.
On the other hand, the police took out the missing home addresses of the missing people and sent the police team there.
On December 1, a person who was called to the police station was asked very much that a person had asked for his mobile number from him and
this person was a beggar sitting in front of Vice CM Hospital in Pimpri-Chinchwad area.
The investigating officer immediately arrived and questioned some beggars while sitting in front of Pimpri Chinchwad YCM Hospital. Some people sitting near the gate said that a person whose name is Sandeep Mankar, age 45, did not come in front of the gate for the last few days.

all the CCTV footage around the Vice CM hospital when the police showed the 45-year-old man walking with someone else in the CCTV footage.
On the 25th of November, the same Sandeep Menkar appeared in the nearby Shiva Sai Restaurant, buying a plate of food.
His photo was also recorded there. The investigating officer’s mind was stunned when he saw that this person appeared with another person for two or three consecutive days, even while sitting on the motorcycle with the same person.
On the other hand, in the CCTV footage of one of the missing persons outside the house, this same 45-year-old Sandeep was seen coming on
the motorcycle with the same person, then the police were convinced that one of these two persons had committed the other Is murdered.
But who that person is, it was still a puzzle. The second person living in Wakad area of Pune was 52-year-old Mehboob Sheikh.
\When the police made inquiries at his house, a letter was recovered from the house in which Mehboob Sheikh wrote the names of 7 to 8 creditors and also accused them that if anything happens to his life, he is responsible for 7 to 8 creditors.
Will be When the investigating officer showed the half-burnt clothes of Mehboob Sheikh’s house and the Bluetooth found at the scene, the people immediately recognized that the clothes belong to Mehboob Sheikh.
After talking to the family, the suspicion of the police increased and the person of the house did not meet for two-three days and even after speaking of his death, there was no sadness on the face of the family, this was changing the suspicion of the investigating officer.
It may be that Mehboob Sheikh is alive and the corpse that has been recovered may be that of Sandeep Marikar.
Investigating officers took out the CDR report of Mehboob Sheikh’s mobile number and put the mobile on the tracing.
But nothing was known as the mobile was switched off from 29 November. But some news gave intelligence and the trace mark started coming from different location of the mobile which was using Mehboob Sheikh and the mobile which was switched off.
Until December 5, no specific information was available. The case seemed to get more complicated as the case came to be resolved. From December 13, once again Mehboob Sheikh’s mobile started and different city locations started appearing.
The police then figured out where the mobile user could be in his own style and on December 19, Mehboob and his two wives came to the police at Daund railway station, 90 km from Pune. Mehboob was arrested and brought to Pune.
During interrogation, Mehboob confessed his crime and told everything clearly that it was difficult for the creditor to repay the loan
more than one crore and did not have to repay the loan, so he made a drama of killing himself and One of his old friends who did not have a family and who used to spend his days sitting on the roadside begging him was seduced and taken to the Baner area of Pune and killed him.
