Russia President Vladimir Putin’s opponent and Russia’s opposition leader Alexei Navalny was detained as soon as he reached Russia.
He arrived in Moscow from Germany after five months and was attacked by a nerve agent last year and survived.
He was treated in Germany.
44-year-old Navalny was taken away by the police from Passport Control. Navalny’s flight from Berlin was taken from one airport in Moscow to another. This was done in view of the crowd.
Many believe that the Russian government was behind the attempt to kill Navleni. Some investigative journalists also supported these claims but the Russian government rejected these allegations.
A few minutes before being taken into custody, Navalny told his supporters and the media at the Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow, “I know I am right.” I am not afraid of anything. All criminal cases against me are false.
Navalny’s lawyers were not allowed to accompany him
Navleni kissed his wife Yulia – who was on the flight from Germany. Police officials threatened the people that if the order was not complied with,
Force would be used. Additional security forces were deployed at the airport on Sunday.
Earlier on Sunday, metal barriers were installed inside the Vanukov Airport in Moscow. According to Navleni’s flight plan, it was supposed to land here. According to Russian media many activists have also been detained.
These include Lubov Sobol, an important ally of Nalvany. Navalny’s spokeswoman Kira Yarmish posted a picture of the police car on social media at the airport.
Alexei Navalny has been treated in Germany and is now cured. There was excitement among supporters about his arrival in Russia.
A page in Russian was also made on Facebook, in which the appeal was made to meet Navleni when he came to Russia.
Thousands of people expressed a desire to meet Navalny, despite the bitter cold and the Kovid epidemic.

Navleni fainted in a flight in Siberia. Later it was discovered that he was poisoned. Russian officials have been rejecting allegations of poisoning Navleni.
Navalny claimed that he was poisoned on the orders of Russian President Putin.
Why was Navellani taken into custody?
Russian officials warned Navleni that he was supposed to be present in December, but he ignored it so he might have to go to jail if he comes.
Navellani has been convicted in a fraud case and the Prison Service says he has violated the restrictions placed on him.
Navalny has always said that all the cases against him are politically motivated. The Russian Investigation Committee has also started a new criminal case against him in the fraud case.
He is accused of transferring money to several NGOs. These include his Anti-Crop Foundation.
Navleni says that Putin is getting all these done because he does not like the opposition.
People from news media from all over the world gathered at Berlin Airport to cover Navalny while traveling from there to Moscow.
But his return was completely ignored by Russian Federal TV channels and news agencies.
