The whole world is fighting against COVID-19. After a new variant found in so many countries, a new theory is released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Director-General, Dr. Balram Bhargava. He said that on the first day, the report will show negative.
The virus takes time to spread in your system. And it is recognized in undefined duration. And from day three, the virus will be detectable in lateral flow tests and the eight-day which is known as the infection period. That is the reason home isolation is focusing on seven day period.

Dr. Balram said that RT-PCR remains positive even after seven-day isolation. The reason behind it, certain RNA particles continue in the shed. He also informed that after completion of the home isolation period, another test of Covid is not mandatory. If a person has not found any symptoms after close contact with a COVID patient, not required any COVID test. But the person should take care of their health at home.
