Xiaomi recently launched Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro in the Chinese market and now the company plans to launch new smartphones in the Redmi 8 series. Earlier there was news that the company can launch its budget range smartphone Redmi 8A under Redmi 8 series on 1 October. But now the company has made it clear that the Redmi 8A smartphone will be launched in India on 25 September.

Xiaomi India VP Manu Kumar Jain has informed through a tweet that the Redmi 8A smartphone will be launched in India on 25 September. In the post, this phone is being promoted with the tag ‘dumdaar’. The post reads ‘dumdaar Redmi 8A’. However, information about its features or specifications has not been given.

The company recently released a teaser of Redmi 8A, which showed its waterdrop notch. However, no information has been given about any other feature other than this. At the same time, this phone was listed on TENAA. According to which this phone has a 6.2-inch HD + display. Whose screen resolution is 720 x 1,520 pixels.

Redmi 8A has been introduced on a 2GHz octa-core processor. According to the leaks revealed, it can be launched in three storage variants. Which includes 2GB RAM + 16GB, 3GB RAM + 32GB and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variants. Which can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of a microSD card. This phone will be offered on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. 

For photography, the Redmi 8A can have a 12-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. At the same time, there will be an 8-megapixel front camera for video calling and selfie facilities. The phone can have a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support for power backup. The fingerprint sensor will be available for security in the phone.
