The country’s second largest telecom company Reliance Jio has once again shocked users. The company has secretly discontinued its Rs 19 and Rs 52 Seshai recharge packs. The company has taken this step after launching IUC packs on 9 October. Let us tell you that following the instruction of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Jio has launched IUC packs for users who recharge after 10 October. These IUC packs will be for users who make calls on a network other than Jio. The company has launched four plans under IUC packs. In these plans, users are being offered additional data along with IUC minutes.

Talking about Jio’s Rs 19 packs, in this recharge pack, users used to get unlimited voice calling for one day as well as 150MB of data. Apart from this, users also got the benefit of 20SMS. At the same time, in the recharge pack of Rs 52, users were offered unlimited voice calling as well as the benefit of 1.05GB data with a total validity of 7 days. 70SMS was also available with this plan. Jio users have the facility to recharge IUC ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 1,000 for making calls on other networks.

However, it is also coming to light that these Seshi packs of Jio can come back from January 2020. Let us tell you that TRAI has set 1 January 2020 as the deadline to end the IUC. At the same time, apart from Jio, other telecom companies are also looking to increase this time limit. TRAI is currently deliberating to extend the IUC deadline.
