The new and biggest rocket of Elon Musk’s Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) successfully landed for the first time in its third test flight. However, a short time later, it became a fireball and exploded afterwards . Actually, SpaceX’s spacecraft starship SN10 was launched from Bola Chika at five in the evening. The company has released a video of this on their website.
According SpaceX, the rocket flew for 10 kilometers before touching the land pad. Soon after the landing the rocket exploded and was submerged in flames. The rocket reached a critical halt with the first successful landing in its three attempts before it could fire.
It is being told that the successful landing of this rocket is a big step in the direction of space travel. Its success is for SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to take a step forward towards a plan under which he wants to send 12 people to the moon by 2023.
Apart from this, his plan also includes taking NASA astronauts to the lunar surface and then sending them to Mars. At present, the company is still working on preparing the starship for its first orbital flight, which is expected to be completed later this year. Earlier on Tuesday, Elon Musk said in a video that I am sure that we will reach Orbit with starship many times before 2023 and then by 2023 it will be safe to transport humans there.
