The release date of the spin-off series ‘Special Ops 1.5 – The Himmat Story’ has been fixed before the second season of this web series starring KK Menon. The release date along with the trailer was announced on Tuesday. In this series directed by Neeraj Pandey, KK plays the role of RAW agent Himmat Singh and this mini-series will show the story of Himmat Singh becoming a top spy.
KK will be seen in a young avatar in this mini-series. At the same time, Aftab Shivdasani, Gautami Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Parmeet Sethi, KP Mukherjee, Aishwarya Sushmita, Maria Ryaboshapka, Shiv Jyoti Rajput, Vinay Vikram Singh, Shantanu Ghatak etc. will also be seen in important roles.
The mini-series has been shot at various locations in Mumbai, Delhi, Malaysia, Ukraine, and Mauritius. What is the story of The Himmat Story
The chapter of ‘Himmat Singh’ begins with the attack on Parliament in 2001. Due to this failure of intelligence, the sword of sacking hangs on young Himmat Singh and he gets entangled in the dark alleys of politics, bureaucracy and honey trapping, falling into the trap of fraud. Himmat Singh along with an old friend from his academic days (Vijay) pursues an Indian officer who is missing.
Himmat Singh learns that this missing officer is RAW’s top priority and needs to be found urgently. Himmat activates his local sources in Mauritius and embarks on a journey to find and rescue the officer. Soon Himmat and Vijay come to know about many such things which are not visible to the eyes. The series is a high-octane drama set in the early 2000s.
