Sunrisers Hyderabad have a reputation of defending low totals and they did it again against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Batsmen Parthiv Patel and Vohra gave a smashing start and looked attacking from the very beginning as they shredded the defensive approach in earlier matches.
Virat Kohli came to the crease as Shakib took the wicket of Parthiv through an LBW.

Now in these circumstances, RCB found itself in an impossible situation and it looked like a mighty ordeal to snatch the victory from the Orange Army.
It was a make a break situation for RCB as they needed 12 runs from the final over and they needed a miracle to win. Hyderabad, on the other hand, needed a stiff master defense.
Bhuveshwar Kumar did a fine job of bowling the last over and did no let the batsmen cross the winning target in the last over.
For Hyderabad, Alex Hales and Shikhar Dhawan opened the innings. The openers batted cautiously as RCB deviating from the usual approach deployed Moeen Ali with the ball in the first over itself.
Southee got the first breakthrough for RCB as Hales was removed in the third over. Williamson made his intentions clear from the first ball itself and went on to score a crucial 50. Finally, RCB bundled out SRH for 146 runs.
