Five Indian Army personnel including a junior commissioning officer (JCO) and four soldiers have died during a counter-terrorist attack located in Jammu as well as in Kashmir’s Poonch district PTI media agency announced on Monday (October 11 2021).
The anti-insurgency campaign was launched in a small village near DKG within Surankote at around 6:00 am of the morning following information from intelligence sources regarding terror groups PTI reported, the defence spokesperson.
According to the authorities there are reports of an active group of heavily armed criminals inside Chamrer forest, after they were able to escape across the Line of Control (LoC).
