Do you know? Saroj Khan was just at the age of 3 when she performed as a child actress in the Bollywood movie “Najrana”. Her name in the movie was Shyama. She was working as a background dancer in starting.
In the Year 1974, when she was 13 years old, Saroj khan met the choreographer “Sohan Lal” and Started working with him and leant advanced Dance. The time was going slowly and both were fell in love with each other. And then she decide to get married to her Dance teacher “Sohan Lal”.
Became Muslim to marry Sohan Lal
Yes, She decided to convert her religion from Hindu and accepted Islam to marry Sohan Lal. Her real name was “Nirmala Nagpal” . and after accepting Islaam She converted her name to “Saroj Khan”.
Saroj Khan revealed in the Interview that she was 13 years old at that time. And she went to school but her husband tied the belt around her neck and said that now you got married.
Entered in Bollywood Again with a broken heart
Sohan Lal was already married to another lady. Saroj khan knows the truth when she gave birth son Raju Khan. In the year 1965, She gave again birth to 2nd child but he died, unfortunately. Sohan Lal refused to accept her children and run away from the relationship. After which Saroj khan raised her children alone.
